The event was one of several outreach activities planned by the New Life SDA Company and had as its overarching theme, “Men Inspired by GOD to Empower Men in the Church, Family and the Community.”
In addition to a general appeal via media outlets for males to join the march, the New Life Men’s Ministries extended personal invitations through the Anguilla Christian Council and the Anguilla Evangelical Association. Participants included Rotary International and several communities of faith (Anglican, Methodist, Pentecostal, Baptist, and Muslim).

A male quartet, “Few Good Men,” from the Mount Fortune SDA Church thrilled onlookers with its rendition of a song with the same title. The district pastor, Trent Berg, closed the activity with prayer and thanked everyone for participating and bringing awareness to the leadership role of men in the church, family and the community.
The SDA Church recognized the local Pentecostal and Baptist Church pastors, Phillip Gumbs and Gareth Hodge, respectively, for their unwavering commitment and sterling support for the Community Men's March of Witness.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church, New Life Company, in East End, Anguilla, officially launched its Men’s Ministry Program on Sunday evening, February 18, 2018. Remarks made during that ceremony reiterated the need for God-fearing men to band together in a concerted effort to influence the community during these crucial times. The march was part of an ongoing effort to address male-specific concerns in the community.
