Purpose: Transforming lives through literature, proclaiming the message of hope, and giving quality service to everyone.

Our Work

From its earliest days, the spreading of the Advent Message through the media of print has been prominent in the Adventist Church. The Literature Ministry of the Church exists to share the gospel of Hope with all the world at this crucial moment in Earth’s history through publications in all its forms. In the Caribbean, we refer to this ministry as Publishing Ministries.

The Church promotes the view this ministry is one of God’s chosen media for the proclamation of the gospel. We believe that God ordained the literature ministry to give the good news of salvation, especially in these unprecedented times. The key members of this ministry are the local conferences & mission’s Publishing Directors and Literature Evangelists (LEs).   The department focuses on uplifting members while promoting dignity of  life.  it also seeks to encourage and equip everyone to share the good news of Jesus and His second coming and to strengthen personal faith through the spiritual nurturing that comes with reading and sharing the good news with others.

The department’s work and support includes:

  • Supporting training and recruiting programs for Literature Evangelists.
  • Fostering avenues for promoting the importance of the publishing work.
  • Training seminars on the value and importance of Christian Literature
