Purpose: To promote Christian stewardship as a lifestyle reflecting God’s sovereignty and His blessings to us as avenues to support His work.
Focus: To disciple faithful stewards in every church.
Our Work
Stewardship is the way of life for everyone who confesses Jesus as their Lord, Creator, Saviour and Coming King. Their talks and walks are always in partnership with God, representing His disciples in managing God’s affairs on earth faithfully and responsibly.
Christian stewardship is the process that allows the members of our church to position themselves for continued growth and maturity into the likeness of Christ. Christian stewardship is a very broad and important biblical teaching that can be integrated into every aspect of the life consecrated to Christ; from family relationships to time management, from health habits to giving patterns, from spiritual giftedness to care for the environment. The department also facilitates stewardship education and stewardship impact programs, evangelistic outreach and training programs across the Union.
The department assists our conferences and missions in accomplishing the mission of the church through leadership training and the education of the church members in biblical stewardship principles.
The Stewardship Ministries works on promoting
- Encouraging the development of spirituality and spiritual habits by living a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, mission-driven lifestyle.
- Developing loyalty and faithfulness to God with our time, means and assets and having a spirit of philanthropy and giving among our members.
- Working with our conferences and missions, encourage Christ-centric attitudes to Christian service, Social responsibility, Healthful living and Environmental protection and care.
