Focus: Caring for self, family, the Lord’s work and others.

Our Work

The department seeks to assist church members and institutions in matters such as Wills, Trust agreements, Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Annuity trusts

Planned Giving is the process of stewarding resources and possessions to meet personal, family and charitable goals. Such giving requires more planning, negotiation and counsel than many other types of gifts. Planned gifts can result in immediate income, income to charity over time, or serve to delay a gift for life or other periods of time while the donor or others retain income and/or retain access to the assets. The gift may be an outright donation or an agreement.

Trust Services provides fiduciary management of funds and/or property on behalf of, and in the best interest of a trustor (grantor). Fund disbursement is in accordance with the intention of the trustor and only to the beneficiary/beneficiaries determined by the trustor. This is a legally binding agreement between the trustor and the trustee.

The department

  • Seeks to assist each church member in planning for the cycle of life and provide an avenue through which members can financially support the mission of the Church.
  • Encourage members and others to continue their support of God’s work through wills, trusts, annuities and special gifts adapted to their local jurisdictions.
  • Provides means and systems whereby individuals and families may, through the avenues of special gifts, trusts, annuities, and bequests, continue their giving to support God’s work.
